How do I record a sprint?

Tap the Sprint tab, press the start button, and run. The app uses your phone's GPS to track your speed and distance in real time. Press stop when you're done.

Why isn't GPS tracking working?

Make sure location permissions are enabled for Leg It! in your phone's Settings app. GPS accuracy is best outdoors in open areas.

How do I challenge a friend?

Go to the Friends tab, find the person you want to challenge, and tap "Challenge". They'll receive a notification and can accept or decline.

How are leaderboard rankings calculated?

Rankings are based on your top sprint speed recorded within the selected time period. Only sprints with valid GPS data are counted.

Can I delete a sprint?

Yes. Open the sprint from your history, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete Sprint". This action cannot be undone.

How do I join or create a team?

Go to the Team tab. You can create a new team or ask a team admin for an invite link to join an existing one.

What are Bolts?

Bolts are Leg It!'s in-app currency. You earn them by sprinting — every run awards Bolts, with bonuses for personal records, sprint streaks, and first sprints of the day. Spend them in the Bolt Store on cosmetics and power-ups.

How do I earn more Bolts?

You earn Bolts automatically after every sprint. Bonuses are awarded for setting a new personal record, maintaining a sprint streak, and your very first sprint ever. Pro subscribers earn 1.5× Bolts on every run and receive a free weekly Bolt bonus.

What can I buy in the Bolt Store?

The store offers sprint trail skins (visual effects on your result screen), avatar frames (decorative borders on leaderboards), badge overlays (cosmetic additions to earned badges), and Streak Shields (consumables that protect your sprint streak if you miss a week). Mystery Packs offer a randomised item at a discount.

What is a Streak Shield?

A Streak Shield is a consumable item that automatically activates if you miss a week in your sprint streak. It absorbs the missed week and keeps your streak alive. You can hold multiple shields, but only one is consumed per missed week.

What are Mystery Packs?

Mystery Packs contain a randomly selected item from a curated pool. The Rare Pack (⚡350) guarantees at least a rare item, with a chance at epic or legendary. You can't receive a duplicate item from a pack — if you already own the item rolled, the pack still opens and the item is yours (no refund).

Do Bolts expire?

Bolts do not expire. Once earned, they remain in your account indefinitely. Purchased items are also permanent and stay in your inventory.
